Since 1984, this outing has raised more than $550,000 to fund essential facilities and technologies at Clinton Memorial Hospital. In the last three years alone, Stroke for Life dollars have helped to provide a CT scanner, colonoscope, a central monitoring system for the CMH Emergency Department and an EKG system for the Cardiopulmonary Department. Proceeds from the 2008 Stroke for Life golf outing will be used to purchase C-Arm X-Ray equipment for the Clinton Memorial Hospital Radiology Department.
Celebrating its 24th year, the outing is held at The Emerald Golf Course, the gem of Michigan golf courses.Designed by renowned golf course architect Jerry Mathews, The Emerald is located just 10 minutes north of St. Johns on US 127.
