Visitor Guidelines
Two visitors permitted at the bedside. Exceptions may be made for children or critically/terminally ill patients.
Visitors younger than 12 years old are discouraged from visiting patients and must be cleared by the nursing staff
before entering a patient's room. Visitors younger than 12 years must be supervised at all times.
General visiting hours: Every day 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Pediatric Patients
Parents and grandparents may visit any time. Siblings may visit between the hours of Noon to 1 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.
Special Care Patients
Immediate family members may visit for 15 minutes every hour. Limited to 2 visitors at the bedside. Children under 15
are not permitted except at the discretion of the physician/nurse. (No visitors during shift changes from 7 - 8 a.m. and 7 - 8 p.m.
Hospice/Respite/Swing Bed/Sub Acute Patients
Visitors are allowed 24 hours a day. All family members are allowed to visit. Arrangements may be made for a family members to spend the night
and eat meals with the patient. Pets may be allowed to visit the patient - Please clear with the nurse prior to bringing pet.
Overnight Visitors
Family members may remain with a critically ill patient overnight. A pillow and blanket will be provided.
The family member may sleep in the lounge area near the unit. Under special circumstances, one member may sleep
in a recliner in the patient's room with approval from nurse.
